Hayden's Little Bouncin' Legs!

Our Trip to Wisconsin for Zac and Leah's Wedding!

This past weekend we took a trip with our friends to Wisconsin to see our friends Zac and Leah get married! It was our first long rode trip with both kids. On the way there the trip was going well and then we hit some traffic and then made a wrong turn.....needless to say the 9 hour trip increased by, oh 3 or 4 more hours with traffic, getting lost and then stopping for dinner and letting Quinny running around :).

Our time in Wisconsin was sweet and relaxing; enjoying time with friends and family! Zac and Leah's wedding was beautiful and God was glorified! We praise God for bringing them together and are thankful for their marriage! We also pray that they will find jobs in Ohio and live here in Columbus soon!!
The drive back was smoother than the way out thankfully! We enjoyed our weekend and here are some pictures at the wedding!

Hayden is five months old!!

Hayden is growing while the months fly by us! We can't believe how fast this year is going and therefore how fast little Hayden is growing! This past month he has been smiling more and developing this sweet drooly personality that we have grown to love and can't help but to smile and kiss his wet face! He has also developed his hand-eye coordination a bit and loves to grab toys and EAT them, which probably goes along with his "droolyness." I predict he will get some teeth soon! We are blessed to have him in our family and hope to enjoy every moment even though the days are FLYING by! Here is his current cute face on his five month birthday!

Hayden in The Exersaucer!

Hayden loves to play in his exersaucer now! Fun Times!

Home Sweet Home

We have moved, unpacked, and setup our new place! We are very thankful for it and enjoying the updated aspects and spaciousness (compared to the last place). We will be here until we buy a home, and this place is a good "in-between" place for our family! Enjoy the pictures:

Quinn's First Ballet Recital

Hayden was taking care of the umbrellas!

Quinn's Ballet Debut took place at the Alum Creek park on a rainy Wednesday evening. Her friend Alaina was in the class with her. Both girls enjoyed the class and did wonderful at the recital! Quinn was a little disappointed she was not going back up on stage. My favorite dance moves of Quinn are her "leg lifts" and my favorite dance move of Alaina is when she "shows" off her letter and moves it from side to side! The whole video is VERY CUTE as they move to "DOE RE ME" and I will let you decide their "best" moves........

Wrapping up the month of May

May feels like it has gone by fast, however it also feels like it has been a long month because we have done soooo much!
We got back from our trip out to California to visit family May 5th. It was a wonderful time being able to spend time with friends and family.
Once we got back to Ohio we helped get our new church building ready! It is such a blessing to have our own building now! Our first service was May 17th in the building and it was a very sweet time worshiping the Lord and thanking Him for the building he provided!
This past month Quinn has taken her first ballet class and has a recital June 3rd! She has loved dance class and gets very excited about going and doing the steps (when she is not running around the room and running to me or joe telling us she is dancing)!
With the weather warming up this month (finally!!!) we have done trips to the park, zoo, farmers market, garage sales, and an event called "touch a truck."
Believe it or not, on top of it all, we have found a new place to live! We downsized last year to knock off some debt we accumulated and with that accomplished we are moving back nearby where we used to live and the same model of an apartment. We are thankful to be back in a more accommodating place for our family and a place that allows us to have our friends over as well!!
Also, this month Joe has put in an application for a conditional teaching license for high school art. He is almost able to get the license, he just has to pass the praxis II! Tomorrow, he has a job interview at a high school and we are praying he gets the job ( or, another teaching job, where ever God leads!).
Looking back on this month is has been very busy and life changing! We are thankful for where the Lord has us as a family and we are looking forward to where He is leading us next month and what is in store for the month of June!

Hayden is four months old

The past four months have flew by super fast!! It is hard to believe Hayden is four months old! We went to his check-up today. He weighs 11lbs 12.5 ozs and is 24 1/2 inches long. He is following suite with his sister and is just a petite little guy in the 3rd percentile for weight. The doctor said he is doing well and hitting all his milestones! Last week he rolled over for the first time. Quinn loves cheering for him when he does it, then shows him how she can do it too! He loves to smile, laugh, stick everything in his mouth to suck on it, and loves to stick his tongue out! Here are some cute pics of him :

He loves to go to sleep with pooh bear!

Cornerstone Baby Dedication (Including Hayden)

Hayden is 2 months old!

Hayden had his two month check up today and I can't believe how fast he is growing! He weighs in at 10lbs 5oz and is 22 inches long! He gained over 2 pounds since his last check up and almost half an inch.
He is still waking up twice a night, but the doctor said to be patient with him because it is totally normal and he should be doing better by 4 months old. She said he is doing well in the fact that he goes to bed on his own by 9 and sleeps about 4 hour stretches. So, I am thankful for the extra time I get to spend with him in the night and thankful for the energy God is giving me during the day because most days I am miraculously not tired!
The doctor had no concerns about him and his growth and then he got a whole bunch of shots! He seems to be doing well, just a little more tired...maybe he will sleep more tonight;).

Here are some other cute pictures of him in his favorite pants:)!

Quinn's Second Haircut

Today me and Grammie took Quinny to get her haircut with her friend Alaina at Cookie Cutters. She was so excited to get her haircut and has been asking to get her haircut since she had gotten it for the first time back in October :). She had her haircut all planned out: when she got there she would watch Elmo and ride in an airplane. Sure enough, when we got there she was soooooo excited and asked to watch Elmo and ride in the airplane :). She got her cute little bob cut in the airplane while she watched Elmo and then her and Alaina played on the slide, ate a sucker, and got a balloon. They both enjoyed their haircuts and look beautiful! Quinn asked to get her haircut again when we got home...

Zoo Trip!

Last Wednesday the weather was beautiful and we were able to go to the zoo for the first time this year with some good friends :)! Quinn loved going to the zoo and really enjoyed petting the goats and seeing all the animals. Her favorite animal to see most of all was the elephants! Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice this month and we cane make more zoo trips!

I can lift my head!

Tonight Hayden was doing some "tummy time" and he lifted his head for the first time. This is the first of many milestones to come:) It amazes me how fast he is growing. Before I know it he will be walking! We are both enjoying what a blessing he is and taking advantage of the time we have with him as a newborn!

Going to Natalie's Princess Birthday Party

Today we went to Natalie's princess birthday party! Natalie is a friend from church who turned 4 years old! All the girls wore princess dresses to the party (and Natalie's cousin Dominic wore an armor outfit :) )and they played dress up, listened to a story, made a necklace, played with bubbles, ate lunch, had cupcakes and then watched Natalie open presents. Natalie had a great time for sure! Quinn also had a lot of fun at her party! She loved dressing up and looking at herself in the mirror the most I think. What she did not like was watching Natalie open presents....we definitely have to work on being happy for friends getting presents on their birthday :)!! All in all it was a great birthday party day!

listening to "The Princess and Pea." After the story Jonna got out a mattress for the girls to "test" to see if they were true princesses. It was cute watching them lay on mattress saying, "I feel it!" They weren't lying because the "pea" was a tennis ball:)
