Wrapping up the month of May

May feels like it has gone by fast, however it also feels like it has been a long month because we have done soooo much!
We got back from our trip out to California to visit family May 5th. It was a wonderful time being able to spend time with friends and family.
Once we got back to Ohio we helped get our new church building ready! It is such a blessing to have our own building now! Our first service was May 17th in the building and it was a very sweet time worshiping the Lord and thanking Him for the building he provided!
This past month Quinn has taken her first ballet class and has a recital June 3rd! She has loved dance class and gets very excited about going and doing the steps (when she is not running around the room and running to me or joe telling us she is dancing)!
With the weather warming up this month (finally!!!) we have done trips to the park, zoo, farmers market, garage sales, and an event called "touch a truck."
Believe it or not, on top of it all, we have found a new place to live! We downsized last year to knock off some debt we accumulated and with that accomplished we are moving back nearby where we used to live and the same model of an apartment. We are thankful to be back in a more accommodating place for our family and a place that allows us to have our friends over as well!!
Also, this month Joe has put in an application for a conditional teaching license for high school art. He is almost able to get the license, he just has to pass the praxis II! Tomorrow, he has a job interview at a high school and we are praying he gets the job ( or, another teaching job, where ever God leads!).
Looking back on this month is has been very busy and life changing! We are thankful for where the Lord has us as a family and we are looking forward to where He is leading us next month and what is in store for the month of June!
